The Garden is almost snow free, we will be able to start working the ground soon and getting our first seeds of the spring season in. Peas, spinach, cabbages, kale, carrots, onions, turnips, rutabagas, spinach and of course radishes will all go in the ground soon as they are cold hardy plants which actually prefer the cooler temperatures of spring to grow in. If timed correctly we can get a second crop of these plants in the fall usually by planting in mid to late August, except for the radishes of course š¤£people only seem to want radishes for about 1 week out of the year in spring and then you can’t give the darn things away.
