Lupin Surprise

We discovered this patch of beautiful blue and purple lupins growing next to the gazebo this morning. There must have been a few flower beds around here in the past when the old owners and their families used to keep their campers down here. We have also found some sedum, miniature roses, and aqualegia growing here and there. The poplars have taken over the spot so if there was a flower bed at one time it is long gone now. We will have to collect some seeds off of these later in the year and see if we can get some growing up at the house. Shame these flowers are so short lived they are lovely.
