Potatoes!

We chose the site of our first garden bed for a few reasons. Firstly, it had been worked years ago as a large garden bed and already had a substantial layer of topsoil that was not as thick with our Northern Clay as other places on the property. Secondly, lots of sun, good drainage, close to the river and close to the house. But oh boy getting up and down that hill between the garden and the house!
