There is an old catchment pond a previous owner of the property built to catch the spring run off and provide water for what we have been told was a potato bed. We have finally had the chance to do a little more exploring now that some of the old rubbish has been picked up. The site is thickly overgrown with bushes and trees and could use a little attention to further clean it up. We decided to throw a minnow cage in to see what might be lurking in the waters and it was evident quite quickly that it was full of fat little minnows!
